PARAMOUNT & TURTLE SEASON ON FORT LAUDERDALE BEACH

Right now is the perfect time to buy real estate in South Florida since the high-season has passed. Meaning less competition. One of the most popular towns in South Florida is Fort Lauderdale. Fort Lauderdale is 28 miles north of hopping 24-hour city of Miami, home of 45,000 plus resident yachts, nesting spot for sea turtles, stretches along 7 miles of Atlantic Ocean white sandy beaches, is one of the world’s most famous coast lines, trickles with myriad of waterways, and is approximately 40 miles south of small town feel West Palm Beach. Happens there are still two spectacular East facing two-story penthouses available in Paramount and one third level unit in the newest Fort Lauderdale Beach condominium tower.

Paramount, Fort Lauderdale Beach’s newest luxury condominium right across from Fort Lauderdale Beach on 700 North Atlantic Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33304 shines bright and towers above with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Intracoastal Waterways and the downtown skyline. A stone throw from the Bonnet House and Museum nestled between Sunrise Boulevard and Las Olas Boulevard in the heart of the beach this modern amenities packed residence makes living in near the beach a lifestyle to dream of. This coming Thursday through Friday, May 10-11th the Bonnet House is offering a two-day drawing workshop. You will be taught by artist Nia Nakis. All classes are taught on the estate surrounded by luscious landscapes, contrasting colors and tropical motifs to inspire the artist in you. Perfect for making a piece of art for your new condominium.

This deluxe, beachside-living condominium is located on two acres in the epicenter of Fort Lauderdale AIA and the Fort Lauderdale Beach boardwalk is Paramount’s front yard. Walk along AIA and see Paramount standing tall just south of the Bonnet House. Paramount developer has splurged on its lavish amenities. The 18-story, 95 unit luxury building offers all residences plenty of natural light pouring in from the 10-foot high ceilings and glass spanning floor-to-ceiling with sultry views while the penthouse residences have 11-foot high ceilings. All units have private elevators and smart home technology in every room. Rain showers, spa tubs, designer chefs, marble, quartz countertops, floor-to-ceiling glass, expansive ceilings are a peak of the opulent interiors.

Not only will you be impressed with the lavish interiors but every time you pull into the front of the building you will be greeted by a beautifully designed Porte cochere that opens to a lavish garden. Paramount is striking and a truly wonderful place to make your home in South Florida. Residents are welcome to enjoy 24-hour valet service, tune-into the private concierge service app, access to the club and social room, as well as food and drink service at the pool or beach. Paramount Fort Lauderdale also boasts a state-of-the-art fitness center, complete with a beachside pool, massage and steam room, and even a play area for the kids. Relax on the deck in private “island” cabanas, or have a cookout in one of the many summer kitchens. Plus the beach is just across AIA, basically the Atlantic Ocean would be your front yard.

From May 1 through October 31, Fort Lauderdale beach is homage to sea turtle nesting season. These magnificent animals emerge from the surf at night to lay their eggs in nests dug into the dry sand, then return to the sea. Two months later, about a hundred baby turtles (hatchlings) emerge from each of these nests and crawl to the ocean. You will notice the Fort Lauderdale Beach boardwalk is built especially so these baby sea turtles cannot walk past the 12” high concrete wall into AIA traffic. Luckily, the local government put in place in 2003 an ordinance to protect sea turtles and their hatchlings. The purpose is to reduce the impacts of artificial coastal lighting on threatened and endangered sea turtles that nest on the beaches of Fort Lauderdale by restricting artificial lighting that disorients turtle hatchlings, causing them to crawl toward land rather than toward the ocean. The restrictions and constraints of this division shall be effective within the incorporated areas of Fort Lauderdale and apply to any coastal lighting activity that has the potential to adversely impact sea turtles within city limits. With the beach being your front yard if you were to own at Paramount you might be able to see a sea turtle nest or hatchings swim to shore during the peak turtle season from June through September. Another significant benefit to living a beach-style lifestyle.

Last but not least condominiums always have HOA fees. Paramount’s monthly maintenance fee offered by the developer is .90 cents per square foot of living area of the residence. It will include all amenities, water, sewer, cable television, internet service, common area building maintenance (interior and exterior).

These residences worth touring if you are in the market for a premier South Florida beachfront condominium with resort-style amenities. There are only two units remaining. Two penthouses with expansive two-stories of 6,000 square feet living space and 6,000 additional square feet outdoor space priced at $10 million each. Some of the units are being offered as resale.
